"We just want to find a church that really teaches the Bible."

It seems that's what we hear, more than anything else, when visitors come to GBC. They're just trying to find a church that will proclaim God's Word. We certainly hope they'll find that here, because it is one of our greatest passions as a church. We believe that sermons should come from the pastor's own diligent study of God's Word. They should be passionate, worshipful, practical, and radically God-centered. Beyond that, we believe that the entire church family should be equipped to share the Word with others. 

But we hope that our guests will find more than just solid Bible teaching, because we want to be a healthy church in every aspect: 

• We believe that pastors are servant-leaders and shepherds who have been entrusted by God with a flock of His people.
• We believe that a church is a group of followers of Jesus who have gracious relationships, strengthening fellowship, and accountability with one another.
• We believe that church worship happens when God's people sing to the Lord together.
• We believe that church growth is about sharing the gospel and making disciples.
• We believe that children's programs should focus on God-centered Bible study that is age-appropriate. We also believe parents should be allowed to keep their children with them in our services.
